EXERCISE!
56 degrees in the city of the French king! Yes! Leave the compy behind, dust off the two-wheeled wonder and hit the Forest Park bike trail! And it looked as if I wasn’t the only one with outdoor inclinations. Cyclists, joggers, golfers, canines & their humans were out in force to appreciate weather that, according to my wife and the weatherman, will not come our way again for quite some time. There I was, zooming through, one hand holding onto the handlebars and the other my camera, my right forefinger firing away (the last time I tried this, in the wilderness of Nevada, I managed to eat some dirt).
Needless to say, after a few months where the only pedals I’ve been pushing have been the brake and gas (of my 1986 Sedan Deville, a powerful luxury automobile made in the US of A), I was one tired pup when I returned from my ride (though I fared better than the Young Lady of Niger).
The route I followed took me all the way around the park, a journey from my house and back again of about 9 miles. With stopping for photos (and being quite out of shape) today’s photo expedition lasted about 75 minutes.
Here are the results, if you’d like to take a look.
