Sunshine through the leaves
In the early morning’s angled light everything looks more detailed; there seems to be more depth to the world around. A certain richness is imbued to the recipients of the day’s first light. There is a hue that makes you cry for joy, a saturation of color that overflows into the imagination and leaves an indelible mark. Chiaroscuro all over again.
I would have stayed there all day, savoring the air and soaking up the sunshine, but I had a wedding to photograph (remember Adam & Karyl?) and miles to go before I sleep.
As a side note, it turns out that one of the bridemaids (her name is Melissa) in today’s wedding met me in the park last January on a very warm day. She and a friend were walking dogs and I asked if I could put their photo on my blog. They said yes, I snapped a few quick shots and the rest is... come on, you know the answer. Today turned out to be great weather for outdoor photos, by the way. Sunny and warm, not a cloud in sight and I never heard a discouraging word.
The wedding photo I should have up soon, but here are my morning shots.
