Counting crows
There may be too many to count; the crows, that is. Over the last four weeks I’ve been seeing more and more of them in the park. They soar silently overhead in the day, and roost noisily in the evening. Several times, in the latter hours of the day, I’ve come across a rookery engaged in raucous debate (though what the subject could possibly be, I haven’t the foggiest notion).
Next to Round Lake, I photographed an impromptu football game and met a fan of my web site (Sandi, who told me she sent the link to her two children, who live out of town). As a reward for admiring my site, I gave her a set of all 9 postcards that I’ve printed so far (if you want some, just ask - my e-mail is edward at edwardcrim.com - but please, no watch offers).
I also popped up to the 19th floor of the Dorchester to try another panorama. It was a bit windy up there and I was concerned about loosing something over the balcony railing (such as myself - I only do these crazy things to get photos; I much prefer being close to the ground). I should have that up shortly (been working on Adam & Karyl’s wedding photos most of today). But without further ado, here are today’s.
