Consciousness of Streams
This is shaping up to be a wet winter - my basement has water flowing across it already. If the spring is this wet, I may have to buy a pump! In Forest park, the stream beds that are usually dry are flowing with water. I found myself a vantage point and watched, from under my umbrella, the rain and flowing water. It would have been quite peaceful had it not been for the gusts of wind that threatened to blow the umbrella right out of my hands.
I wandered around the Muny for a while until I met a waterlogged opossum meandering down a hill. I chased him around in a circle trying to get a good photo before I let him wander to the other side of a stream. Then I looked around and saw that other mammals had been there as well. See for yourself.
