Bird fight!
On a day like today, all of God’s creatures want to be out and about in Forest Park (but some of them had trouble sharing the park). I saw plenty of birds (grackles, starlings, red winged blackbirds, robins, sparrows, a dark eyed junko, ducks, geese and a red tailed hawk) including one I haven’t yet identified. I saw my first turtle of the year as well!
Golfers were out golfing, runners were running, cyclists cycling, walkers walking, workers working and yours truly photographing all of the glorious wonders of Forest Park (well, as many of them as I could fit into 2 hours time).
So, you ask (that was you, wasn’t it?), what’s on the agenda for photography tomorrow in Forest Park, America’s top ranked urban park? And I answer “Gee, I don’t know”.
I’ve been mostly approaching this serendipitously, going out and seeing what I can find. But tomorrow...
maybe I can catch...
