Penguin March
The Penguins at the St. Louis Zoo celebrate their march in January and February, and today your favorite Forest Park photographer was there to capture the event (along with about ten thousand other people)! The Penguins seemed to enjoy it as much as the humans, and waddled quite charmingly in front of their little residence. They gawked and pointed at the humans as the humans returned the favor and seemed to be commenting on the crowd that turned out just for them.
“Look at that tall one there!”
“And look at that one in red!”
“There’s one with 4 chicks!”
“Hey, you, gimme a fish!”
I managed to get a good vantage point and snap a few photos not only of all the commotion there between the bear pits, but also of some very strange beasts indeed, whose motto seems to be “What goes around, comes around.”
Don’t believe me, eh?
