Where shall I go?
While doing a mental inventory, today, of the places in Forest Park I haven’t yet been, I formulated a plan to visit the Art Museum, but once I got to the park I found myself moving towards the park offices and the area around it. I parked next to the baseball fields by US 40 and then wandered along the fence separating the highway from the rest of Forest Park (it took a rather large swath of the park when it was built).
I talked to the horses at the mounted police barns, I looked at the pedestrian tunnel under the highway, I walked all around the planetarium, inside it and into the tunnel that takes one over the highway to the rest of the Science Center.
When I got back outside, I got a phone call asking me if I had forgotten about the kid’s car pool. Oops. I’l have to come back later for the dusk photos!
