Day to play
The grass was still soggy in many places and large puddles of water seemed to be everywhere, but the sun was out and folks were ready to get out and enjoy the weather! Though the intense sun reminded me that August is on its way, the pleasant temperature and mild breeze reassured me that it still has a way to come.
Sweater weather is my favorite; enough sun to warm without overheating, a light breeze to ruffle the hair, late afternoon backlight, yes! And let’s not forget to mention the shadows! Shadows give definition, contrast, balance and drama.
“I’m going to walk the dogs, Henry, I may not be back.”
“Matilda, don’t leave now! The car’s broke down and the stock holders are grumbling about my bonus! I’ll end it all if you go!”
Tune in next week, gentle listeners, to hear the conclusion of our exciting story! - photos at 11
