Day 93 - a year in Forest Park
- documentary photography by Edward Crim, St. Louis
I hope I started something!
While not everyone is quite as dedicated to photography in Forest Park as I am, there are still quite a few people with cameras wandering the park. High schoolers, little old ladies, middle-aged equipment geeks, owl enthusiasts, young lovers, and...me.
If you see a blond, 6 foot 2, broad shouldered, muscular and extremely good-looking man laden with cameras wandering the park taking photos, you can be certain it’s not me. If you want to know what I look like when I’m traipsing around America’s premier urban park, you’ll just have to wait for my next self-portrait.
I do want to encourage all of you to get out and enjoy this glorious spring weather; after all, it won’t last forever!
Oh, and remember, large white bird with black beak and yellow feet = Snowy Egret.
Larger white bird with mostly yellow beak and black legs and feet = Great Egret.
Short blue, green, reddish brown bird with yellow legs and feet = Green Heron.
You can see all these and more on my bird page: and some of them, of course, on today’s photo page.
