Day 152 - a year in Forest Park

Eric and Sarah

Eric has a girlfriend! Her name is Sarah! She’s really cute! She’s really smart! She’s very photogenic and Eric’s not too bad, either (of course we photographers have a tendency to notice these things)!

I’ve known Eric since he was knee high to a grasshopper (he’s knee high to a Gigantosaurus, now), and I’ve followed his band, Watching Judas, for some time, even driving their tour bus (yes, I do have a CDL)! Given all this sharing of the planet with Eric (and his extended family), I was delighted to have the opportunity to photograph him and Sarah in America’s most romantic urban park. And what could be more romantic than a picnic by the stream bank? Complete with a bottle of Chateau Lafite 1959, and roast pheasant on a bed of asparagus and garden salad, (ok, it was really 3 buck Chuck and Lee’s Fried Chicken with sides of green beans and slaw, but romance elevated it to ambrosial status)!

So, Dear Reader, next time you are in a romantic mood, hasten to the boat house and row your sweetheart to a secluded nook for a bit of  Amour et Vin. Photos now!
