Attractive nuisance
Warm, sunny days and water; they just go together, don’t they? I did notice that new signs went up last week telling people to “KEEP OUT OF FOUNTAIN”, but so far, it hasn’t kept people (my favorite species, remember?) from going in anyway. I don’t blame them, either, but the park ranger who came by today did. Unlike the policeman last night, who just shone his light on the crowd, today’s enforcement human actually stopped and walked up the fountain to the second level so as to better growl at the offenders. Well, after all, there is a sign!
My son Austen accompanied me on today’s ramble as we moseyed three or four miles through the park. We examined owl pellets, looked at birds, wandered through the history museum and generally had a good time. I did manage to get a few photos, so here they are.
