Back in the saddle again
It felt great to be back in Forest Park today, after a 6 day absence (I actually had a paying job - photographing over 5000 screaming teenagers at a national convention in Nashville, TN). It was interesting to see what my children picked for the web site each day (though nowhere near as satisfying as being in America’s premier urban park).
Austen and I took a kite with us today and tried (without much success) to get it to fly. But we didn’t let that spoil our fun! There was a Tennis tournament on at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center, the Muny was in full swing with Godspell, the Boathouse was rockin’, there were families, old folks, lovers, pretty girls and lots of other people, too. We even saw people we know (in all the above categories)! Forest Park, we love you so!
