Day 185 - a year in Forest Park

Family ramble

My daughter accompanied me today on my FoPa (as she calls it) excursion over hill and dale. We were hoping there would be some great concert action in the Zoo (open til 8 on Fridays this summer), but intermittent rain discouraged that activity. We saw Mr. Tada, the Japanese Top Man when we arrived there on Art Hill, wrapping up after a long day. We met a magical sort of bird there in the zoo. We wandered the golf course, listened to a party at the Worlds Fair Pavilion, saw young lovers on a paddle boat and managed just to catch sight of some of the fireworks that took place downtown.  Go on, take a look!
