Making tracks
While I didn’t make the tracks above, I did make a few tracks around the south east corner of the park today. There are some new bridges there, courtesy of the rebuilding of US 40, as well as a lot of debris, construction materials and a bit of confusion. A lot of rabbits as well.
My favorite spectacle today was the swirling mass of Duck Weed in the waterway between Columbus Bridge and Circle Lake. The currents from the water inlets create eddies in the stream and as a result the floating weeds are constantly shifting and changing. The contrast between the green of the Duck Weed and the dark blue of the water is quite striking. You can see it and other wonders here.
