Twilight Tuesdays are back!
Gumbo Head, a New Orleans style rock/jazz band was playing in front of the History Museum tonight and it was great (Tony the Tiger would say “Grrrrrrreat!”) I hope you didn’t miss it. There was dancing, beads tossed to the appreciative audience, the dance of life and a huge number of fans. I’m certainly one of them after tonight’s performance!
The evening had started with a quiet traffic jam down by the south entrance to the Zoo (don’t drive that way; the road is closed to build a new walk way across the street). Then it was a walk on the East side, over the Victorian Footbridge to Kingshighway and the NE corner. Plans changed, though, when word came from HQ that a concert was on tonight (these Twilight Tuesday events have all been great), and we headed over thataway to catch the party. Here are the photos I took; enjoy!
